Meeting Your Needs for Events, Banquets, and Conferences – Inn Marin, Novato, CA
We have several locations at Inn Marin that are available for your event and most areas are available for an inclusive fee (food & beverage additional and not included). Inn Marin can accommodate groups large or small in the Garden Room, Garden Patio, Lawn and Pool Patio. The hotel offers the perfect venue and location for banquets, wedding receptions, meetings and conferences. You will enjoy the excellent flow of space options that will allow you to have the perfect event.

Over 1,200 square feet of total indoor meeting space, with the capacity to accommodate up to 400 people in the expansive outdoor garden setting.
- Garden Room – With 1,200 square feet, this newly refurbished facility can cater groups up to 70 in a classroom setting, 100 for a banquet, 140 theatre style and 200 for a reception.
- Lawn Area – Open to the imagination, this unique five-acre outdoor environment features an expansive lawn that’s perfect for large events, up to 400, including corporate picnics, family reunions, team-building exercises, weddings, retreats and barbecues, to name a few. This garden setting encompasses a large pool and hot tub is also ideal for volleyball, croquet and other activities.
- Garden Patio – Featuring 900 square feet, this idyllic outdoor venue can accommodate up to 60 people for a banquet function or up to 90 for a reception.
- Rickey’s – Available for private events on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Rickey’s can cater to groups of up to 120. This historic restaurant has been newly refurbished and is ideal for meal functions and informal meetings or social gatherings.
Food and Beverage
A wide range of catering options include both set banquet menus and customized specialties. Accommodations can be made for groups who have special dietary requests, unusual menu specifications and even the most elaborate theme parties.
Due to concern for our hotel guests and neighbors, we require music remains indoors past 8:00PM.
For items that are not available from our banquet inventory such as specialty linens, heaters, chair covers or other items, there will be an additional rental charge plus a handling fee. Our catering director will review all house linen options as well as china, flatware, glassware and more in order to provide you with unique design options for your wedding event.
While we have sufficient parking for most events, it is important that all parking and transportation issues are reviewed prior to your event date. The Inn Marin supplies a parking director to assist guests in finding their own parking upon arrival. Your catering director will work with you to coordinate parking needs or provide referrals for transportation companies.
Lodging and Accommodations
Our location makes us the perfect lodging and accommodation for your guests traveling to your Sonoma, Napa or Marin County event. We have a total of 70 guest rooms including suites. In most cases we can hold your block up to 30 days prior to your event with no deposit required. At 30 days, we will release any unused portion of the original block but will continue to offer rooms to your guests, based on availability. Our user-friendly web interface makes it easy for your guests to book their rooms online and for you to be able to check your guest’s reservations for yourself! We also offer guests reservation cards that you can include in your invitation to make it easier for your guests to book their accommodations.
Weekend guestroom rates range between $119 and $279 per room, per night and suites range between $184 and $284 per suite, per night. We are happy to extend a discount on our accommodations for your event. Rates for your group will vary depending on the season and day of the week. These rates are subject to change depending on availability.
